Louis Latour Agencies was founded in July 1990 and is the UK subsiduary of Burgundy wine house Louis Latour. In the early days we just represented the wines of Maison Louis Latour. The Hasslacher Grant has been granted in perpetuity by The Wine Trade Sports Club Foundation to benefit members of the drinks trade requiring urgent financial support. As a legacy, it has been created in memory of Michael Hasslacher whose grandfather was one of the founding members of ‘The Benevolent’ (now The Drinks Trust). With trade friends, Michael set up the charity of The Wine Trade Sports Club in 1973 and chaired the trustees for 50 years. He was an active member of the sports club (which continues to flourish for members of the drinks industry www.wtsc.org.uk) and a former club President. He spent his career in the drinks trade as M.D. of the family company Deinhard & Co. and was a past Master of The Vintners Company. As a charity The Wine Trade Sports Club Foundation also supports members of the drinks trade and remains a proud supporter of The Drinks Trust.
The London Wine Fair is widely regarded as one of the world’s most important wine trade events and takes place at Olympia National, Olympia Central and Olympia West. The Wine Trade Sports Club Foundation is the charity of the Wine Trade Sports Club. Alongside The Drinks Trust, the charity helps (past & present) members of the drinks trade with financial support. Over the course of the year we offer cricket, golf, rugby, tennis, squash and a host of other activities. The Worshipful Company of Distillers is a Livery Company of the City of London dating back to the reign of King Charles I. There are over one hundred City Livery Companies, each numbered according to precedence, primarily based on the date of foundation, our ranking being 69th.
The Company is one of the oldest of the City guilds or livery companies. Its origins probably date back to the end of the twelfth century when it was known as the Guild of Our Lady and St. Thomas Becket. The earliest written reference to the existence of brewers as a body can be found in the City Letter Books where it is recorded that in 1292 London Brewers lodged a complaint against the Sheriffs. In 1406 the mistery of free Brewers successfully petitioned the Mayor and Aldermen for the right to appoint Masters and Wardens to control the trade. Henry V1 granted the Company the first of its charters on 22 February in the sixteenth year of his reign.
Until the twentieth century, many non-brewers were admitted to the Freedom of the Company. Often this was to enable those whose trade was not represented by a Livery Company to practise their craft within the City

The Worshipful Company of Innholders is one of the 110 Livery Companies of the City of London. The Innholders’ Company ranks 32nd in the order of precedence of all the Livery Companies. Its motto is Hinc Spes Affulget, Latin for Hence Hope Shines Forth, and it is based at Innholders’ Hall in College Street, between Cannon Street and Upper Thames Street.

Timothy Taylor’s is one of the UK’s oldest family-owned breweries with over 160 years’ heritage of brewing award-winning cask ales, with their Landlord winning more awards than any other beer, winning both CAMRA Champion Beer of Britain and the Brewing Industry Awards Gold Medal four times. Established in 1858 when Timothy Taylor began brewing in Keighley, the company remains in the family and is the last independent brewery of its type left in West Yorkshire.
